Teaching:

I teach a variety of classes: Psychology 459W (Social Psychology: Advanced topics); Psychology 459O (Social Psychology: Advanced topics); Psychology 499 (Directed Reading and Research), Psychology 656 (The Social Psychology of Love and Sex); Psychology 653 (Seminar in cross-cultural psychology); and Psychology 654 (Special Topics: Forensic sciences).

Research:

Dr. Hatfield is especially interested in working with students who are interested in conducting experiments on love, sex, and emotional contagion and who have strong backgrounds in computer analyses and statistical methods. Dr. Elaine Hatfield is a member of the Social Psychology Concentration. Her research interests include social psychology, emotions, emotional contagion, love, and human sexuality.
